He is the founder of Jeremy L. Goldstein & Associates LLC, Jeremy Goldstein, a boutique law firm that focuses on advising compensation committees and senior officials of major conglomerates. The events raised an amount of $56,000 which was directly used for the benefit of the active participants of the program.
On 22nd May this year, the first wine dinner was set up on the rooftop of the luxury hotel called NoMad. The event gained immediate publicity and is considered to be the most influential fundraiser of the year. The overwhelming response from the esteemed guests encouraged Jeremy Goldstein and his colleagues to go ahead with the second wine dinner on 31st of May.
Fountain House has been transforming the lives of mentally ill people since its inception in 1948. For many, the non-profit organization has proved to be immensely helpful during their tough times.
The organization has its presence in 30 countries across the globe with 100,000 participants. The programme aids the participants to secure a job for self-sustainability and a tremendous confidence boost.
The members as allocated a personal supervisor and they get involved in administrative tasks, cooking food and advocacy. Community-based projects are a part of the curriculum which plays a very important role in the transformation process of the participant.
The projects help the mentally ill people to make new connections with people and create a strong bond with loved ones. Fountain House has claimed to have helped 42% of its members to secure proper employment which is quite an achievement in itself. The results reflect the efforts and the vision of the founders and the members of the board of directors.
As a founder of a boutique law firm, Jeremy Goldstein is a reputed lawyer. Before joining as a director of Fountain House in 2010, he supervised some of the biggest corporate transaction in the last 10 years.
He earned his B.A from Cornell University and soon enrolled for an M.A. degree at the University of Chicago. Later he followed his longtime interest of becoming a lawyer and completed his J.D. from New York University.
